This website is owned and operated by Morningside Legal, PLLC, an Iowa Professional Limited Liability Company ("Morningside" or "we"). This privacy policy applies to this website and Morningside-sponsored social media pages, if any (collectively, the "Sites”).

Morningside is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This privacy policy discloses how we collect, protect, and use Personal Data we collect online or that you provide to us in other ways, as well as how we protect children's privacy. “Personal Data” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person, for example, your e-mail address, name, or phone number. If our policy practices change in the future, we will let you know by posting our revised privacy policy on our site. 

By using the pages on this site or other services covered by the posted Privacy Policy, you are accepting the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

You may visit our Sites without having to provide information, although please note that our Sites may automatically collect certain information, including Personal Data, via cookies, as further described below.

Morningside collects Personal Data directly from you to the extent you voluntarily provide it to us. You may choose to provide us with your name, address, zip/postal code, email address, phone number, and other information submitted through the "Contact Us" functionality.

Your Personal Data is collected through, stored, and processed by us or our vendors in the United States of America. The protections of Personal Data in the United States might not be deemed to provide protections equivalent to your home country.

 Our sites are intended for use by people over the age of 16 and should not be used by children.  

"Cookies" are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor's ongoing access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the visitor that has no meaning outside the assigning site. We have no responsibility for linked websites and provide these links solely for the convenience and information of our visitors.

Residents of certain jurisdictions have legal rights regarding their data, which may include making the following requests, at no charge:

• Access/Data Portability: You may request confirmation regarding whether Morningside is processing your Personal Data and, up to twice per calendar year, to receive a copy of your Personal Data delivered electronically in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily useable format that allows you to transmit this information to another entity without hindrance;
• Correction: You may request to correct of your Personal Data if it is inaccurate or      incomplete; and
• Deletion: You may request the deletion of your Personal Data.

To exercise the rights above, you must contact us by email sent using the Contact link on the Site. You have the right to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your rights under applicable state law. 

Only you or a person that you authorize to act on your behalf may make a request related to your Personal Data. A request to exercise any of these rights must (1) provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected Personal Data (or an authorized representative of that person); and (2) describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to understand, evaluate, and respond to your request. We will verify your identity by comparing the information you provide us with information we have in our records. In certain cases, we may need to ask for more information. We may not be able to respond to your request or provide you with the information you requested if we are unable to verify your identity (or establish the authority of an authorized agent acting on your behalf).

You may also have a right to appeal a decision we make relating to requests to exercise these rights. To appeal a decision, please follow the instructions we provide in our communication to you regarding the status of your request.
